(Numeros - Ordinais Formas

Observe acima, que de 1 a 3, os n�meros ordinais tem uma forma unica, de representar cada n�mero em ingl�s.

  • 1st
    First = primeiro, "st" a direita do numero = duas ultimas letras do nome (first).

  • 2nd
    Second = segundo, "nd" = duas ultimas letras do nome (second).

  • 3rd
    third = terceiro, "rd" = duas ultimas letras do nome (third).

De 4 a 20, a regra � adicionar "th"

4th
Fourth = quarto.
5th
Fifth = quinto.
6th
sixth = sexto.
7th
seventh = setimo.
8th
eighth = oitavo.
9th
ninth = nono.
10th
tenth = decimo.
11th
eleventh = decimo primeiro.
12th
twelfth = decimo segundo.
13th
thirteenth = decimo terceiro.

14th
fourteenth = decimo quarto.
15th
fifteenth = decimo quinto.
16th
sixteenth = decimo sexto.
17th
seventeenth = decimo setimo.
18th
eighteenth = decimo oitavo.
19th
nineteenth = decimo nono. 20th
Twentieth = Vigezimo.


As regras para as dezenas de 20 a 90, seguem abaixo, regras para os três primeiros digitos, de todas as dezenas, seguem primeiro, e depois o restante:

O numero e formado por
(cardinal) + hiffen ("-")+ (ordinal)
ex:41st = quadragésimo primeiro
Fourty-first
(cardinal fourty)+("-")+(ordinalFirst).
(cardinal quarenta)+("-")+(ordinal primeiro)

21st
= Twenty-first = vigezimo primeiro.
22sd
= Twenty-second = vigezimo secundo.
23rd
= Twenty-third = vigezimo terceiro.

De 24 a...29 , a regra é adicionar "th", duas ultimas letras do numero ordinal:

As regras acima se aplicam as dezenas de 30...a...90 da mesma forma



24th
Twenty-fourth. Vigezimo quarto
25th
= Twenty-fifth.
26th
= Twenty-sixth.
27th
= Twenty-seventh.
28th
= Twenty-eighth = oitavo.
29th
= Twenty-ninth = nono.
30th
= thirtieth = trigezimo.

30th-thirtieth...up to
39th-Thirty-ninth
40th-fortieth ...up to
forty-ninth - 49th
50th-fiftieth...up to
fifty-ninth - 59th
60th-sixtieth...up to
sixty-ninth - 69th
70th-seventieth...up to
seventy-ninth - 79th
80th-eightieth...up to
eighty-ninth - 89th
90th-ninetieth...up to
ninety-ninth - 99th

De cem para cima, a regra é a seguinte:
100th - One Hundredth = centezimo
Adicionamos "th" no final das centenas.
200th - two hundredth
300th - three hundredth
400th - four hundredth
500th - five hundredth
600th - six hundredth
700th - seven hundredth
800th - eight hundredth
900th - nine hundredth

As unidades de 1... a....19, iguais para todas as centenas:
101st - One hundred and first
102nd - One hundred and second
103rd - One hundred and third
104th - One hundred and fourth upto.....
...119th - One hundred and nineteenth.

Das dezenas até a próxima centena e a mesma para todas as dezenas:
120th - One hundred and Twentieth
121st - One hundred and twenty First
122nd - One hundred and twenty second
123rd - One hundred and twenty third
124th - One hundred and twenty fourth upto...
...199th - One hundred and ninety ninth
